Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager (B2B)! Our mission is to empower businesses with renewable energy solutions that are efficient, sustainable, and economically advantageous. We specialize in solar energy projects for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segments, meaning that we focus on self-consumption systems that allow businesses to generate their own electricity, reduce energy costs, and minimize their carbon footprint. In this role, you will focus on visiting clients, building relationships, and closing deals, effectively converting opportunities generated by our Inside Sales team into successful projects. Your expertise in client engagement and negotiation will be crucial in driving our business growth and expanding our market presence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to assess needs and propose tailored solar solutions.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring terms align with company objectives and client expectations.
  • Work closely with the Inside Sales team to ensure a continuous flow of qualified leads and optimize lead conversion.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to deliver proposals that meet technical and financial requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitors' activities to adjust strategies and capitalize on new prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the company’s presence in the solar energy space.

The External Sales Director.

Who are we looking for?

  • Degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field;
  • Experience in b2b (technical) sales, account management, or business development;
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets;
  • You know how to present a good sales pitch and to negotiate a deal;
  • You are fluent in Spanish and you have a good English proficiency as well;
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule;
  • You like to be on the road and visit clients.

Workplace

We are looking for several Business Development Managers across Spain to cover specific regions. Our headquarters is in Zaragoza, but we also have offices in Madrid and Barcelona. This role requires regular travel to client sites across Spain and occasionally to other European locations.
